Human rights quotes.

Hey guys, I hope you all are doing great. Today, I came across some quotes on human rights and I decided to share it with you people. Some of this quotes were said by very important people, who saw the need to speak about the rights of people. They spoke up because they knew that without proper and equal protection of human rights, the very existence of humanity will be threatened. Here are some amongst many, that caught my attention;

“We must work with determination to create a society, not where black men are Superior and other men are inferior and vice versa, but a society in which all men live together as brothers and respect the dignity and worth of human personality“.

– Martin Luther King Jr.

Injustice anywhere, is a threat to justice everywhere”.

– Martin Luther King Jr.

“There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest“.

– Elie Wiesel.

“A right delayed is a right denied”.

– Martin Luther King Jr.

“The rights of every man are diminished, when the rights of one man are threatened”.

– John F. Kennedy.

“Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impact information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers”.

– United Nations (Universal declaration of human rights UDHR).

I think my best quotes here should be Nelson Mandela’s own;“To deny people their human rights, is to challenge their very humanity”. And Abraham Lincoln’s own;“Whenever there is a conflict between human rights and property rights, human rights must prevail”.
