The month of November.

Hello and welcome to the month of November. As we all know, the month of November is the second to the last month in the year 2020, which means that after November, we’ll say welcome to December and after some weeks, goodbye to 2020. Looking back at the past months, we can all say, without any doubt, that the year 2020 has indeed left an indelible mark on everybody, both young and old. I know most of us can’t wait to leave 2020 and say welcome to 2021. But have you ever asked yourself this question, “what makes me think that 2021 will be any better than 2020? I don’t know the answer to this question and obviously, nobody else does. Not even the greatest preachers, the greatest prophets, know the answer to this question, only God. Only he can answer the question above. So I think that, rather than looking at 2020 with hate and shock, let’s look at it and be grateful that we’ve made it thus far.

I know a number of people I knew personally, that shouted “Happy New Year” with me, that aren’t here anymore as I speak. That is life for you. It is just like a journey, where everyone one has there own specific destination. The fact that you’re still alive just means that you haven’t reached yours yet. Therefore, you’ve got to be grateful and always remember this; Everything is by grace and not by luck.

As usual, I’ll be giving brief facts about the month of November. Known to be the lungs and stomach cancer awareness month, November is the eleventh month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian calendars. Having gotten it’s name from the Latin word “Novem”, meaning “Nine”, November is the fourth and last month of four months to have a length of 30 days.

The Chrysanthemum is the birth flower of the month of November.

The Topaz and Citrine are the birthstones of the month of November.
