Hello February.

Hi guys πŸ–οΈ, happy new month to everyone πŸŽ‰. Looking back at the past month, we could say that January was a good month. Although we lost some notable figures, we were still able to make progress with the Covid 19 vaccines. Amongst other things that took place in January, we saw the resumption of schools, not only in Nigeria but in other countries as well. We saw the inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th president of the United States and of course, Kamila Harris as the 49th vice president of the United States. She is the first female, first black and the first Asian-American, to hold the post of the vice president. It was an historical day for women of all races around the world, as we saw one of our own take up such a powerful position. Also we had the international Holocaust remembrance day, where we remembered the victims of one of the worst genocides in human history.

Being the second month of the year, February is the only month of the year, to have a length of 28 days in a common year or 29 days in a leap year. Just like every other month, February has a list of events being observed this year.

February 2- World wetlands day.

February 4- World cancer day.

February 6- International day of zero tolerance to female genital mutilation.

February 8- Propose day.

February 12- International day of women’s health.

February 13- World radio day.

February 14- Valentine’s day.

February 20- World day of social justice.

February 21- International mother language day.

February 27- Anosmia awareness day.

February 27 International polar bear day.

Happy new month guys 🎊🎊. Stay safe πŸ’–.
